Biography of Ron G. MacFarlane, Jr.
Ron G. MacFarlane, Jr. focuses on the representation of individuals, corporations and governmental entities in the trial, arbitration, and mediation of complex commercial litigation and cases involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death,, products liability, defamation, deceptive trade practices, insurance bad faith, municipal law, and advising businesses and governments on contract negotiations, risk and litigation matters. He has been the city attorney of the City of Cedar Hill, Texas since 1996.

Ron MacFarlane has represented hundreds of clients in state and federal court trials and appeals throughout the State of Texas, as well as mediations and arbitrations. As a result of his reputation as a trial attorney, Mr. MacFarlane is a respected lecturer and instructor on trial advocacy and deposition skills. He has served as an active faculty member and instructor of National Institute of Trial Advocacy since 2001.

Mr. MacFarlane has been recognized for his professional legal standards and ethics in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers through the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register. The
